“thoughtfully equipped”

Wow what a house – it was fully equipped and so very easy to cook in both in the kitchen and on the BBQ. There was a supermarket (Coles) and a bottle shop nearby on Johnston St which was very convenient and we would recommend to go to Queen Victoria Market to get some food treats. There is a great pub around the corner from the house called the Union Club Hotel. Trams are easy to get and you can walk into the city. The beds were amazing – so good in fact that we ordered the same mattress Sealy pillow-top even before we got home. Katrina was excellent throughout the stay and provided a fantastic service.The house was large for 2 children and 2 adults and it was really good to have a garden. The children called it their mini-house but really it was not mini. We also used the house as a base to go to apollo Bay on the Great Ocean Road which can be done cheaply with V-line train and bus (sit on the left going out). Also do go and see the Penguins – for free at St Kilda pier – you can get the tram and go at night. All in all 5 star!

“Fantastic place to stay”
We loved it! Fantastic position. Didn’t need a car walking distance to everything. Easy to deal with. This was our second stay and will be back again!

“Everything We Wanted!”
The FitzGeorge was perfect for what we needed. The location was ideal for our stay, being within walking distance to everything and despite being ‘inner-city’ was quiet & peaceful! The townhouse was a great size with a lovely courtyard aspect. Would definitely recommend.

“Fitzgeorge…what a treat!”
Just arrived home after an incredible stay at Fitzgeorge…Wow..what a place,what a position…walked in and out of the city, weaved our way through alleyways ,did many laps of the streets, ate incredible meals, shopped in wonderful shops, slept soundly in the comfort of Fitzgeorge…We will be back! xx 5 of 5 Phaedra

“Outstanding”
This was an absolutely brilliant place to stay, just off Gertrude Street, extremely close to the centre of Melbourne. The apartment is down a small side street, but we found it fine to walk around the neighbourhood even late at night – in fact, late at night the neighbourhood is lively and fun, but the apartment is far away from any noise. We travelled with children who loved the space the apartment afforded. The apartment ios comnfortable, stylish and well-equipped. We were able to cook for friends while the children slept upstairs. Simply ideal!

“Great apartment in central Melbourne location”
FitzGeorge was a great place to stay in a perfect location for Melbourne. The apartment was presented very well, including breakfast provisions that were unexpected. The location is fantastic, a surprisingly quiet street in a busy area of Melbourne. Only a short tram trip away from the city and steps from great restaurants, pubs and shops. Good value for money for 4 people, although the car park is very small.

“Home stay”
Everything was very clean and neat.
The beds were comfortable. Spacious enough for 6 pax.
Location is good, near food outlets (Little Bourke Street).
Just that for large cars like Mpvs, the garage cannot be used. But parking is available just outside the house, with parking permit provided.

“Wish we had stayed longer!”
We had a fabulous weekend at FitzGeorge. The location is great, very quiet but close to shops, cafes and pubs. The property itself is modern, beautifully furnished/decorated and very well equipped including quality linen and plenty of kitchen equipment. We would definitely stay here again or recommend to others

“It has is all!”
Fitzgeorge was the perfect place for us to stay. Just a hop down to the tram, a skip to oh so many cool cafes, restaurants and funky bars and a jump to some of the best shopping Melbourne has to offer. With really comfy beds, a couch to curl up on, a kitchen to let loose in and a courtyard to soak up that beautiful morning sun with your cuppa, Fitzgeorge had it all! We will definitely be back!!

“So good, I want to keep it a secret”
Brilliant. So well set up. Not a single Ikea piece, quality furniture and lovely as well as supremely comfortable decor and bedding. I know next time I need to book FitzGeorge it will be very tough. Thanks Katrina, you have put your head and heart into this and we felt it- a welcome reprieve after a long drive on the Great Ocean Road. Great cafes around the corner, and a supermarket to boot. Loved it. Oh and the BBQ in the courtyard is also a great touch.

“Perfect house for a visit to Melbourne”
This house is a winner! It’s in a great location, very quiet street yet a short walk to cafes and shops. It was generously fitted out with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Extremely comfortable beds and stylish decor. Thanks for lookings after us so well Katrina. We will come again.

“Fantastic apartment. Tastefully decorated with quality furnishing”
Upon our arrival at the loft, we walked in to find freshly baked sourdough, milk and butter. We felt very welcomed and immediately relaxed.
The apartment was a great design, with large windows framing the little courtyard area outside. It was really nicely decorated with lovely furnishings.
As we were there with our two young daughters, we needed a place with cooking and washing facilities for the days ahead. There were quality European cooking appliances (including gas cooktop). Also the front loading washing machine and dryer were easy to use. The beds were comfortable and we slept extremely well at The Loft. The linen was all immaculate, clean and of high quality. The Sheridan towels were beautiful and soft and far nicer than a lot of those we have had in expensive hotels. The child proof gate for the stairway and also the highchair made it much easier with the children.
The tram just around the corner on Nicholson Street takes you into the city or further on to St Kilda.
It would be an absolute struggle to try and find anything to complain about at The Loft. It is excellent value. Our communication with Katrina from beginning to end was a pleasure. This is a wonderful apartment which we would highly recommend.

“Fabulous Fitzroy accommodation”
The Loft was extremely comfortable, well-equipped and very stylishly furnished. Within easy walking distance of Brunswick Street with its great shops and cafes, it is in a lovely part of Melbourne. Despite being the inner city it was very quiet. Katrina made the arrangements very easy and left lovely fresh bread, which was a nice welcoming touch. It made me want to move back to Melbourne!

“Cosy warehouse apartment in excellent location”
Great apartment, very stylishly decorated in excellent location just off northern end of Brunswick st. Situated in lovely area, walking distance to Brunswick St were there are great bars, cafes and shops. Or jump on a tram or a short cab ride and you are in the middle of the city. I love Melbourne for its quirkiness and this loft apartment fits in perfectly. Will definitely stay here again.

“Welcoming”
My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the loft. The communications with Katrina prior to checking in was excellent and on arrival we were greeted with fresh organic bread and a pantry stocked with the essentials. The accommodation was clean and warm and had all the mod cons that you take for granted at home. The location was fantastic with everything we needed either being a short walk or tram ride away. I would highly recommend The Loft to my friends and family and I will certainly stay there again when I next return to Melbourne. 5 of 5 Jason

“A great stay n a great place”
have just returned from a long stay n Melbourne visiting m daught. she fond this brilliant apartment for us and what a find! excellent location for all of Melbourne many sights and absolutely perfect for transport links. main iq is only 10 minutes away b tram, but the famous Brunswick St round the corner.
The small house . is very well appointed., all you could ever need for short or long stay is there. Good siZed oven, fridge, washing machine and dryer, absolutely everything g has been thought of.

“Value and style”
The gorgeous loft shines with light,and is a tranqual urban oasis. Clean, stylishly appointed and well equipped it leaves one wanting for nothing. The location is great (you can smell the coffee! ). We loved the trams at the end of the street and great restaurants and shopping just a hop, step and a jump away. Thank you Katrina for making our Melbourne experience so welcoming!

“A home from home in an ideal location”
The loft is a pretty cool and comfortable place to stay only a couple of blocks from edgy Brunswick street in Fitzroy and a couple more from Brunetti’s and the Italian quarter of Carlton. Ample space for three or four.
Katrina was very considerate and generous in supplying us with bread, milk butter etc on our first night ready for breakfast but I would recommend any of the local cafe’s for thier fantastic breakfasts such as atomic cafe.
With two or three metro lines within easy walking distance it really is ideally located to enjoy the cosmopolitan foodie capital of the world that Melbourne has become to the fullest.

“Perfect for a busy trip”
The Loft was lovely and perfect for our family of four on a busy trip to Melbourne. We were out all day and it was warm and comfortable when we returned home. Parking was easy to find and close. We will definitely stay again.
 
What a wonderful place to stay! Everything about this place was fabulous – the location was perfect and the property was fantastic – a really lovely place to stay in. The attention to detail and level of helpfulness of the owners were amazing – nothing was too difficult to arrange for us. We felt extremely comfortable, we wished we’d stayed longer and will definitely be back. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for fabulous accommodation in Melbourne. The Loft is a well positioned self catering apartment with a small garden! An extra bonus was the free parking. It is well equipped and ideal for weekend or longer stay. We loved the decor and crisp white bedlinen. The children loved the toys! The photo’s are a true reflection of The Loft and we were not disappointed.”

A beautifully furnished and conveniently located property. Very close to trams into the CBD and a short walk to fabulous shops and cafes in Brunswick Street. We had a great few days in Melbourne at the Loft with our two very young children and found it to be so much nicer than staying in a motel. We highly recommend the Loft and hope to stay there again one day

“This property is a little hidden Gem! Perfectly located within easy access to Brunswick Street and a quick tram trip into town. Its a funky oasis right on the doorstep of the fabulously entertaining Brunswick Street – perfect for anyone wanting to be close to where the action is, but also have the feel of being sheltered from the noise and bustle of the area. The space itself is modern and stylish whilst being very comfortable. It ticks all the boxes for the young professional.

“A great place to stay in the middle of everything without being noisy. Really well set out with all mod cons. The beds were super comfy too! The owner was very flexible with booking times and supplied a porter cot with bedding for my 3 month old baby which made travelling much easier. “Fabulous apartment close to town.”
Soho is an amazing apartment. It is decorated well throughout and has everything that a traveller needs to make a stay comfortable. Close to the city and easy to get to location. Soho from it’s polished concrete floors to it’s lovely deck and amazing furniture it is an apartment that I wish I could live in forever. Loved it.

So many great places nearby to eat, and drink. The trams are nearby as is museum and the best shopping in Melbourne. The unit is wonderfully finished with a magnificent kitchen and everything we could need. Was a great family friendly place to stay with great parks nearby and silent at night. Soho 52 was fabulous – perfectly located close to Brunswick and Gertrude Streets and an easy walk to the city tram. We stayed with our 3 children and there was plenty of space for everybody. “Careful Choosing Pays Off”
We really enjoyed our stay at Soho 52. The apartment is located in a very quiet street so it’s perfect for relaxing and sleeping… and yet 5 minutes walk and you’re in a vibrant and interesting part of Melbourne. I’m really particular about eating out and yet there was a multitude of wonderful places to choose from. Shopping was interesting with such an eclectic bunch of stores nearby. The free tram was within walking distance and voila… we were in town.
The apartment itself was airy and light, yet with character and charm. Beds were super comfy, kitchen well-stocked if you wanted to cook at home, and the general feel was like you could relax in comfort, read magazines and books from the shelves or step out to explore the neighbourhood. Thoroughly recommend staying at Soho! 5 of 5 Gillian

“Sensational Soho!”
Where do I start? From beginning to end Soho52 did nothing but please! Katrina is absolutely fantastic to deal with, very quick to respond to all emails & questions. We were very happy from the moment we stepped into the complex! The apartment is everything plus more than what we expected! Very sleek & stylish, even better than the photos we saw! the interior is designed perfectly, we felt at home from the moment we stepped in. Katrina provided a lot of information regarding the apartment, the immediate surroundings as well as further afield! “Great weekend break in Melbourne”
Immaculate apartment, well prepared with a great feel, in a great location, but a really quiet street. We walked everywhere. Close to the apartment are great restaurants, bars, designer and fashion outlets but it is also walking distance to the city, or a block to the tram.

Our group of 3 friends stayed at Soho52 for over the Melbourne Cup and Spring Racing week. We were absolutely amazed by the beautiful apartment and all the extras which made our stay the best we have had in Melbourne. From the big living space and superb kitchen to the gorgeous bedrooms and spacious balcony, a modern getaway with such a homely feel. All this at a great rate, especially being over a peak period, we couldn’t have found a better place for our stay. We will definitely be booking with Katrina on our next stay in Melbourne, staying at a hotel will never come to par with her beautiful apartments and her eye for detail. Soho52 is absolutely amazing and I would recommend it to all my friends and family. A big thankyou to Katrina for making our stay better than we imagined, looking forward to our next great Melbourne experience!

Beautiful house in lovely area

We loved our stay at Meko – recently done up and with a gorgeous kitchen/diner/sitting room on the first floor. The surrounding area is buzzy and vibrant but the street itself is pretty quiet and peaceful. This is a fantastic way to experience the Melbourne lifestyle.

Comfortable accommodation in a great location

We stayed at Meko for 5 nights & loved it. It was very comfortable & perfect for 2 couples with the bedrooms & ensuites being on separate floors. The location is fantastic being only 2 minutes walk from Lygon St & all the great restaurants that brings. The tram & bus stops are also only a minute away connecting you with the city & other great inner city locations.Being inner city you do get the noise of the teams & the sometimes boisterous sounds of passers by but that didn’t detract from our enjoyment. Katrina & Irene were very helpful from the outset, providing lots of useful information.
